Zachary Jost, O.D.
Dr. Zachary Jost is the owner and chief optometrist of Back Bay Eye Care. He received his bachelor’s degree from Providence College and his doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry where he served on the board of the American Optometric Student Association.
Dr. Jost trained via externships at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford, MA, Lynn Community Health Center in Lynn, MA, Merrimack Vision Clinic in Merrimack, NH & MyEyeDr in Raleigh, NC. During his rotations, Dr. Jost had exposure to many specialties including but not limited to ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and pediatrics.
Dr. Jost has worked in private practice in Boston and Cambridge specializing in contact lenses, primary eye care, and pre and post-operative surgical co-management. Dr. Jost is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Jost is very passionate about optometry as a profession and strives to provide the best care possible for his patients.
