Our Doctors

Dr. Zachary Jost received his bachelor’s degree from Providence College and his doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry where he served on the board of the American Optometric Student Association.
 

​​​​​​​Dr. Zachary Jost received his bachelor’s degree from Providence College and his doctor of optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry where he served on the board of the American Optometric Student Association.

Dr. Jost trained via externships at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford, MA, Lynn Community Health Center in Lynn, MA, Merrimack Vision Clinic in Merrimack, NH & MyEyeDr in Raleigh, NC. During his rotations, Dr. Jost had exposure to many specialties including but not limited to ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and pediatrics.

Dr. Jost has worked in private practice in Boston and Cambridge specializing in contact lenses, primary eye care, and pre and post-operative surgical co-management. Dr. Jost is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Jost is very passionate about optometry as a profession and strives to provide the best care possible for his patients.

Dr. Jeannette Lam earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry and completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Primary Care at SUNY College of Optometry, BronxCare Health System.

Dr. J. Ethan Strous was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. He went on to graduate from Ohio State University in 2018 with a bachelor of science in biology. Upon completion of his undergraduate degree, he chose to continue his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Dr. Rebecca Jost obtained her doctoral degree in optometry from Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Jost provides her expertise at Weymouth and Boston, where she addresses a range of eye disorders and visual issues, including dry eye, flashers and floaters, styes, and eye infections.

Dr. Ranu Patel earned her undergraduate degree from University of Connecticut, where she majored in Molecular and Cell Biology and minored in Physiology and Neurobiology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences School of Optometry.

During her clinical training, Dr. Patel completed externships at the VA Bedford Healthcare System, Providence Community Health Centers, and D'Ambrosio Eye Care. Through these experiences, she gained extensive exposure to a variety of specialties including primary eye care, ocular disease management, pre and post-operative surgical co-management, and contact lens care.

Dr. Patel is committed to providing thorough, individualized eye care to patients. She believes in building strong relationships with her patients and takes the time to educate them about their eye health while ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for during every visit.

Outside of the office, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, traveling to new cities, exploring museums, and reading.
